Books I Love vs. Books that Influence Me

So, I originally started writing this post to put on Valprehension, but ended up deciding it made good content for my professional development blog. But some of y’all might still be interested in it – it takes a look at my favourite books, and the ones that have had important influences on me, and the differences between those lists.

Learnin', or: Learning, Informally

I was recently made aware of the “Book Bucket Challenge”, a sort of variant of the Ice Bucket Challenge from last year. It involves listing ten books that inspired you, or changed the you look at yourself and/or the world. What is interesting to me in thinking about it, is that I was pretty sure this would be very different from the list of my ten *favourite* books. So I decided to make both lists! We’ll start with the favourites:
